Horse Judging: 3rd out of 34 teams, with Mandy Wainwright placing 5th out of 129 contestants

Allen County Aggie Days

Council Grove FFA had a great day at the Allen County Aggie Days in Iola. The Livestock Judging team was 3rd out of 23 teams. Carissa Dalquest placed 10th, Cassidy Dalquest was 12th, Kodi Downes was 18th and LaiCee Scott was 25th out of 83 contestants.

CG Players

Evie White and Myles Gant participated in the CG Players Murder Mystery. Members ate baked potatoes with all the fixings before the murder was announced. Participants spent the next two hours trying to solve the mystery.

District D STAR Events & Elections

Ally Hower, Jessica Filkin, and Abi Shearer were elected as FCCLA District D Officers for the 22-23 school year. Jessica and Ally will serve as co-VP's of STAR Events and Abi will serve as the VP of Power of One. With this election, Council Grove will have had a district officer for eight years in a row!

State Leadership Conference

Madi Brown, Alex Solis, and Mallory wells won a bronze medal at State with their STAR event. Jocelyn Skaggs won a silver medal at State for her STAR event. Abi Shearer won gold and is a National Qualifier!
