Four CGHS students competed in the Heartland Harvest Capture the Flag event, which is a Jeopardy style cybersecurity competition designed for high school students. The event took place at ESU. The four boys that competed took 2nd out of 36 teams from around the state. Students that competed were: Bryce Azbell, Jayden Brown, Daniel Most, and Logan Stockwell
Spanish I students took part in a "supermarket sweep" challenge to test their knowledge of food and beverage items. In a fast-paced relay, teams raced to correctly identify and retrieve their items.

Bryce Azbell, Jayden Brown, Daniel Most, and Logan Stockwell attended ESU's CyberCON 3.0, where they explored trends and careers in cybersecurity. They also took part in a Capture the Flag competition with 44 participants, testing their skills in coding, ciphers, and code-breaking challenges. Logan placed 1st, Jayden 2nd, Daniel 3rd, and Bryce 6th - an outstanding showing for CGHS!

Apply Kansas is a special day dedicated to helping seniors apply to college for free! Today, CGHS seniors completed 155 college applications, 2 military applications, 2 job applications, and 16 resumes and cover letters. We are so proud of their hard work and can't wait to see what the fugure holds for our seniors!
Students in Spanish II made butterfly feeders and visited Grove Gardens. The monarch butterflies are currently making their way to Mexico on their annual journey south!
