4th Period
The Concert Winds is the Sub Non-Varsity concert ensemble of the Salyards MS band program. Students in the Concert Winds compete at the CFISD Solo and Ensemble Contest. The band also competes at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation and Spring Festivals in the Greater Houston Area. Students take part in a sectional once a week (after school) and may have additional rehearsals in preparation for contests and festival performances.
