Lessons are billed through email monthly and payments can be made through SchoolCash
Lesson Rates vary from $23 - $29 per weekly 30-minute session. Your assigned teacher determines your rate based on years of experience and level of education.
Lesson Days are typically Mondays through Thursday on a weekly basis. Your assigned teacher determines your lesson day based on teacher availability.
Lesson Times can be scheduled during your child's class period during the school day and/or from 3:15PM - 5:15PM and are assigned on a first come, first serve basis based on student availability.
Teachers may occasionally teach on another day to make up lessons, but will contact you directly about any rescheduling.
Students are allowed to wait in the Band Hall (Rm. 1415) as a "study hall" until their lesson. We ask that students be picked up in a timely manner by the end of our last lesson (usually 6:45PM).
Communication is key when building working relationships with our band families and lesson teachers! Our students & parents deserve and trust teachers to provide consistent lessons and communication throughout the year!
Please reserve lesson cancellations for emergencies only and always communicate directly with your assigned lesson teacher in advance!
Excused absences are those where parents give teachers at least 24hr. cancellation notice for student illness, or extreme emergency.
Unexcused absences occur when parents do not notify teachers at all or with less than 24hr. cancellation notice. This requires teachers to make contact with parents about the situation and mark the Attendance Sign-In Sheet appropriately.
