All Student Leaders will have the opportunity to be models for beginning band rehearsals and performances, will help define the culture of the Salyards Band, and gain leadership skills that will assist them for years to come!
President + Vice President (Application, Résumé, & Interview Required)
The offices of President and Vice-President will help manage the leadership team and be the spokesperson when needed at public events.
Band Representatives (Application Required) - is the "go to" person for their respective performing band (Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band, Concert Winds) and participates in leadership activities.
Social Officers (Application Required) - helps with band celebrations, takes & shares pictures, provides feedback and recommendations on band social events.
Equipment Crew Captain (Application Required) - helps coordinate and lead the loading/unloading of equipment on trips, manages classroom chairs & stands, and helps with concert set-up & tear-down
Equipment Crew (Application Required) - helps to load/unload equipment on trips, manages classroom chairs & stands, and helps with concert set-up & tear-down
