Using Google Calendar

Accessing the class calendar:

1. Through a web browser using the link to the left (under Mrs. Deal's Class).
2. Using an app on your phone (links are below)
   • Android
   • iPhone

Adding the class calendar to your phone app:

Log into your PERSONAL google account on Google Calendar

1. Open Google Calendar through a web browser. If you're on your phone, scroll to the bottom to click on "Desktop" to view the full site.
2. In the top right, click on the GEAR, then Settings Menu
3. Click on Add Calendar --> From URL, then copy the link below and paste it in the space, then click Done.

4. Now open up your calendar app and make sure that under "Other Calendars," the Algebra I calendar is checked.

Copying events from the class calendar to your personal calendar

You may want events on our class calendar to show up on your personal calendar so that all of your assignments from all of your classes show up in the same place.

To add the event, click on the event and select "copy to my calendar." Please note that if you are using the app for your phone, and have added our class calendar, any events I add (tests, assessments, due dates) will show up and NOTIFY in your app.
