Nicholas (Nick) G. Jones is the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Vicksburg located in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Nick grew up in Stockbridge, Georgia, and moved to Vicksburg to open Chick-fil-A Vicksburg in April 2013. 

Nick started with Chick-fil-A at the Stockbridge Chick-fil-A Dwarf House as a Team Member, breading chicken, in 1997 at sixteen (16). Nick continued to work for Chick-fil-A at various locations through high school and college until being offered a position at Chick-fil-A’s Support Center in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2006. Nick worked in Chick-fil-A’s Field Operations department as an Operations Consultant serving S. Truett Cathy brands corporate restaurants. He led and coordinated various marketing, new product development, and general operations projects. In 2010, Nick entered Chick-fil-A’s Interim Manager Program and served in the program for nine months in four different locations. While in the Chick-fil-A operator selection process, Nick served as an area training, restaurant marketing, and senior operations director for various locations, including the Original Chick-fil-A Dwarf House in Hapeville, Georgia. 

Nick graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management in 2004 and a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University in Saint Louis, Missouri, in May 2023. 

While attending the University of Georgia, Nick participated in the Army ROTC program and the simultaneous membership program through the Georgia Army National Guard. Nick was promoted to Major (MAJ) in August 2017. He was commissioned as an Armor Officer through the University of Georgia ROTC Bulldog Battalion in 2004 and was awarded the Outstanding Cadet Leadership Award. His military education includes the Leadership Training Course, Advanced Leadership Camp (honor graduate), Armor Officer Basic Course (honor graduate), Reserve Component Engineer Captains Career Course, and the Command and General Staff College Intermediate Level Education (CGSC ILE Core) Course (distinguished graduate). 

As of May 2021, MAJ Jones is assigned as a Plans and Training Officer for the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. MAJ Jones has served in two combat deployments: in 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and in 2009 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom while based in Kunduz, Afghanistan. MAJ Jones’ awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, and the Combat Action Badge, among other awards. Nick is the Treasurer of the Vicksburg Warren Economic Development Foundation and the Scout Committee Chairperson for Cub Scout Pack 221. Nick also formerly served on the Vicksburg Warren County Chamber of Commerce board, the Board of Directors for the Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Kings Empowerment Center. 

Nick has been married to Bridget Jones since February 2005. They have three children, Noah and Brady, and a daughter, Lana. Nick and his family attend Pinelake Church in Clinton, MS, and Crossway Church in Vicksburg, MS.
