Become a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional
ParaPro HQ is a comprehensive training program that is designed to help paraprofessionals attain highly-qualified status with the Department of Public Instruction. Completion of this program means that the person has met the DPI's requirement to complete a program with a "rigorous standard of quality" and that they have demonstrated "knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics (or, as appropriate, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness)." (reference).

To ensure student are ready to pass the actual tests, the platform includes virtual practice assessments
Participants will need to pass two in-person assessments that will test knowledge of supporting instruction and content knowledge in Reading, Writing and Math
Participants have up to 1 year to complete the program.
Pricing
Basic ($200)
Includes access to the modules and self-guided license application instructions. Participant must provide a test proctor who holds an administrator license and is able to be present to during the exams.
Plus ($450)
Includes access to the modules, test proctoring at CESA 7 and personal licensing support.
