He has been the owner of Iron Horse for twenty-one years. He has been a citizen and a taxpayer finding that to be the most important qualification he can have.
Donald is wanting to change how Greeley County runs. He thinks it's important for citizens all over Greeley County to be able to vote for all the commissioners not just in a district. This follows along with another issue that he wants to focus on. He believes that Greeley Country should not be split up in districts. It will allow issues to be to be taken on countywide. These are Donald's main focus for being your county commissioner.
Michael was born to Bill and Shirley Goldfish of Scotia, NE. He grew up there his whole life and attended North Loup-Scotia High School where he graduated in 1980. Michael has been farming ever since, which has amounted to thirty-eight years. He resides in rural Scotia with his wife, Sherri, and their daughter, Sadie. Michael first ran for county commissioner in 1998 and won. He has held this position ever since.
Michael is very qualified for this job because he has been doing it for twenty years. He has a lot of experience and truly knows Greeley County along with the people in it. Also, he is a taxpayer and a farmer, so he understands the issues that concern the citizens.
Michael is concerned with the taxes. He has a conservative stance as he wants to make sure that they are as low as possible for the taxpayers. Michael also wants to make sure that the county has good roads and safe bridges. He wants to make sure that all of the county's residents can travel safely. These are two of his highest priorities that he will focus on as your commissioner.
