Matthew Adams “Untitled”

9X12, colored pencil, 2019

I got the idea to start and do this from a painting from Jackson Pollock and that idea was to do something that is different from the norm.

To me this piece is a starting point of my art and how to do it (rubber bands to hold the pencils together).

The one thing I would change is to make it denser then it is.

What I love about this is how it looks like a whirlpool of dots and line.

To me this piece is a starting point of my art and how to do it (just holding them).

If I could change anything it would be how light the dart and lines are.

I really like how it looks like a race track with the lines going the way of the track.

Matthew Adams “chaos”

9X12, colored pencil, 2019

I got the idea to start and do this from a painting from Jackson Pollock and that idea was to do something that is different from the norm.

To me this is a fist attempt at making a piece of art in the way I wanted and how to do it the best.

I would make it a little denser because if it was too dense it could make it hard to see the lines.

I just love the way it turned out and looks close and even far away.

Matthew Adams “life”

9X12, colored pencil, 2019

I got the idea to start and do this from a painting from Jackson Pollock and that idea was to do something that is different from the norm.

To me this is my best work yet with how it represents even no matter what life is like confusing, making you mad, or even sad there is still more to it and it is a blank slate for you to do with how you please.

If I could change anything I would make the sides of the paper and the different colors denser.

I love how different it is between each color and even within the same color group.
