Matthew Adams "The Bowl"
5.5, 5.5, 1 3/4, earthenware clay and glaze, 2018
I used the art style realism for this piece.
I made the cone then made the bowl on the wheel.
I would put more glaze on it.
I like how much it stands out with the variation of colors.
Matthew Adams “The Abomination"
12.5, 4, 10, earthenware clay and glaze, 2018
I used abstract for my stile for this piece.
I worked to make the holder thing and put clay slabs on it. I made different features to put on it so it would look like abstract art.
I would not have it finished in time to go in with Parker's, so when the mask blew off his art it would not have damaged the back of one of the shoulders.
I like how dumb it looks which was the idea.
Matthew Adams “the gamble”
8in, 4in, 5.5in, earthenware clay and glaze, 2018
I used the art style surreal for this piece of art.
First, I made a cube then hollow then did it again to another smaller piece then made the bowl on the wheel.
I would have done it earlier so I would have a more even cube.
I love how the bowl looks after being kiln.
Matthew Adams “a big glass of lemonade”
13.5, 9.5, 21, cardboard, 2018
I used pup art for this project.
I started with the idea for it to be what it is but not to this scale.
If I had to start over I would make it more circular.
I love how it looks from the side,
