Matthew Adams “Sir Slimington the third”
12 x 18 inches, chalk on paper, 2018
the style I used in this drawing is abstract.
I started doodling the eyes which look like octopus eyes, then I made the body outline and the top hat, I made the mouth and its little pip on the first page. On the second page, I made his lower half, walking stick, and pocket with a monocle.
I would change the eye’s color they just don’t match the rest of the body.
I love just how odd it is which matches my style.
Matthew Adams “The chalk”
12x18, water color and sharpie, 2018
my style for this project is realism.
Even though chalk is seen as a tool it can still is something that can be used to make something 3D.
If I could change anything it would be my lines to be more strait show it would look more realistic.
One thing I love about it is how it has a 3D look to it.
Matthew Adams “The Cave”
9x12, graphite, 2018
My style for this project was realism.
I took the picture at Maquoketa caves with Spencer and Remington standing be and exit/entrance.
I would change how I darkened it so it would look a lot better without the up and down with lines going left and right through it because it looks so much different from the rest.
I love how it keeps moor of an organic shapes with ever thing.
Matthew Adams “pattern”
9 X 12, printmaking, 2019
My idea for this project was to make a pattern that looks cool.
I like how the dissing looks.
The process for this project was making the pattern, putting it onto a Styrofoam board, putting ink on it and pressing it onto paper.
If I could change something I would not do the pattern because putting it on the Styrofoam board hurt my wrist.
I love how it turned out because it looks great.
