Matthew Adams "Reptilian Face"
Earthenware clay and glass 2017
I made a face.
I used a plastic mold of a face and added stiches, scales and a serpent tong.
It started as a face with stiches then I was told I should add scales to it then I add a serpent tong with it.
I love who it turned out.
Matthew Adams "The Good, The Bad And The Owl"
Earthenware clay and glass 2017
To make an owl.
I poured slip into an owl mold and painted the half that didn’t break.
It started out as a full owl but the back broke.
I loved who it turned out with the glaze.
Matthew Adams "The Thing"
8 in, 5 in,4 in, earthenware clay, 2016
It is whatever you think it is.
It was going to look like a mafia member but I didn’t have the time so it became what it is now.
Start it earlier and go with my original plane.
I love how it turned out and how it looks like whatever someone thinks it is.
Matthew Adams "The Wire Tree"
7,5,1/2, wire, 2017
I was going to make an umbral but I change my idea and made it into a tree.
It is just a tree I made out of wire.
Make it into a good tree
I love how it turned out even if it doesn’t look like the best of the trees.
