Clay Face
Earthenware Clay and Glass, 2017
I made this piece very on spot since I just moved here but my idea was to make a very simple clay face I think I succeeded my goal. My audience should know one thing about the face is that the left eye fell off in the kiln. If I started over I would make sure they eye is one stable and I wouldn’t be as messy with the glaze. The thing I love about the clay face is how the royal blue turned out it is a very good color.
This next piece of art is a work in progress I am almost done with it. Something I would change if I did it over again is I would make the bridge part more even. One thing I like about it is most of the shading. I feel I did pretty well on this project even though it is not completely done.
