FIRST TRANSNATIONAL ACTIVITY C1

From 13th to 17th January 2019 we had our first transnational activity. The meeting took place in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, which was attended by three representatives from each participating school. The main objective of this activity was the initial training of the participating teachers in matters of affective-sexual diversity. The partner company Diferencia2 was in charge of giving teacher training. We had training sessions every day of the stay and we also had the opportunity to visit different parts of the city and the environment. We were also received at the Jerez city hall.

DAY 1 (13/12/2019): ARRIVAL OF THE PARTNERS AND FIRST DAY OF TEACHER TRAINING

In the afternoon, the partners arrived to Jerez and we had lunch at Blas Infante School. Then we started with the first day of teacher training in sexual-affective diversity. This first session we focused on the main concepts about affective-sexual and gender diversity.

DAY 2 (14/12/2019): VISIT TO CÁDIZ AND SECOND DAY OF TEACHER TRAINING

In the morning we visited the city of Cádiz and we did a tour of the city center with a touristic guide. After having lunch in Jerez, we had the second day of teacher training in sexual-affective diversity. In this session we were trained about LGBTI-phobia around the world and global and European legal mapping.

DAY 3 (15/12/2019): VISIT TO JEREZ AND THIRD DAY OF TEACHER TRAINING

We visited the city of Jerez during the morning. We started visiting the Alcazar, then we were officially received in the town hall of Jerez and finally we went to a wine cellar. In the afternoon, we had the third day of teacher training in sexual-affective diversity, focusing on sexual diversity in our schools. Finally, in the evening, we had dinner in a restaurant in the city center of Jerez.

DAY 4 (16/12/2019): VISIT TO BLAS INFANTE SCHOOL AND FOURTH DAY OF TEACHER TRAINING

We spent the morning visiting the Blas Infante School and watching several activities there: a presentation of the school, a theater play and some lessons. After having lunch, we had the last of teacher training in sexual-affective diversity. We dedicated this last day of training to work on transgender identities and case studies.

DAY 5 (17/12/2019): DEPARTURE OF THE PARTNERS

In the morning, the partners departed to their countries.
