To celebrate Valentines´s day, in the month of February of 2020 we carried out in our schools the activity that we called Rainbow Couples. Students of each school had to spin the two wheels below and write a short story about the couple that has come to them at random. The best story of each school were the winners.
RAINBOW COUPLES STORIES (WINNERS IN EACH SCHOOL)
European Integration School Complex in Nowe Miasto, Poland.
When I was a little girl I had a lot of dreams. I wanted to be a doctor, meet an alien and have a friend with whom I could share all my thoughts. I graduated from a medical university after 6 years of studying. But I quickly realised that one of my other goals in life was pretty difficult to achieve, I mean meeting an alien. And it took me more time to understand, that having a friend that I can completely trust is as much difficult. And then I met him, an alien and a friend in one. He was a builder. I was 32 and he was 35 when we met. I had a stable job in a hospital and an expensive flat in the centre of Budapest. He saw me at the corridor in the hospital when there was a renovation. When he spoke to me, I remember him being so nervous that he barely could look me in the eyes. But we were talking some more and he invited me for a date. I introduced him to my parents. I wanted to see them how happy I was. But the only thing they saw was that James didn’t have a prestigious job and that he was Irish. My mother said: ‘Anna, you deserve better’. But I couldn’t be more thankful I had him in my life. Because he didn’t love me only for the reason I was successful. For my sterile, small world, in which I was raised, he was way too weird, they treated him like he was from another planet. And sometimes I did, too. But one of the biggest reasons why I loved him was how different he was from me.

William and his best friend
There was once a boy named William. He had brown hair, was affectionate and liked to play with others. He lived in a small town. One spring day, William got up, like every day, to go to school, he had breakfast, packed his schoolbag and left. When he was sitting in school, his teacher made an announcement to them. Today a new classmate is coming to class, he is a bit special and you have to respect him like everyone else, his name is Charlie, said the teacher.
When Charlie entered the class, the children whispered "What a weird kid!" William was silent. Charlie was a boy with Down Syndrome. Despite this, William wanted to be his friend and when they went out to the playground, William approached Charilie and asked him if he wanted to be his friend.
From that day on, they became inseparable friends and always played together, both at school and in the afternoons at the park. In the park they played soccer and in school, when Charlie needed help with his homework, William helped him. And so they continued to be inseparable friends all their lives.

It is a cat, Mia(she), who is absolutely felt in love with a dog, Chocolate(he)! She graces the window in their neighboring building. Every day, she waits patiently on the windowsill, hoping to gaze upon the object of her affection. Separated by glass and the chasm between them, all she can do is stare into his sweet love's eyes to express her undying affection, as a tragic hero would in a Shakespearean drama. But Mia decided enough is enough and it was time to get(two star-crossed lovers) together. So, she wrote a question on a sign to put on the windowsill. It’s read, "What is your name?" And, to her delight, he response was, "Hi Mia, I'm Chocolate, You're My Best Friend." Chocolate initially used the wrong version of "you're," but quickly corrected it. Maybe spelling isn't his strong suit, but what does that matter when it comes to true love?
People around quickly become very engrossed in this modern-day romance. At their first meeting—i.e. the first time the windows were opened—it was Chocolate’s birthday. Chocolate was a little shy about finally greeting his love. But he's starting to gain the courage. It's OK, Chocolate, you take all the time you need. True love is worth the wait. Next day they were together at the park, next to each other, laying under the sun!!!
