When do we get our results? Where do I access them?
First, students will receive an email from the DP Coordinator on the evening of July 5 directing students to a Google folder with brief, unofficial documentation of student results.
Students can access their official results at https://candidates.ibo.org at approximately 8:00 pm Hong Kong time on July 6 (approximately 24 hours later).
When students access their results they will actually have more information about their results than the DP Coordinator does, particularly in terms of how close your score is to the next grade boundary.
The IB system isn't always on time, so please exercise patience.
Students may experience difficulties accessing the IB website when using the Safari web browser.
Where is the personal code and PIN that is required for logging in?
To access results, students must enter their alphanumeric personal code (for example, cbh768) and their PIN. This information is located in the same Google results folder that was shared with you at the beginning of July by the IB Assistant.
The personal code (for example, cbh768) is case sensitive but the PIN (for example, TH34MPC4) is not case sensitive.
If a student enters the wrong personal code and/or PIN, any attempt to access the site will be blocked after three tries. Access will be unblocked after 30 minutes of inactivity. Students will have access to their CDNIS email until October 15.
What were my marks on my individual exam papers?
We don't get this information on the 6th of July (usually 2 or 3 days later), the IB assistant will add the component scores to each student's results folder as well as the grade boundaries, if available. We do not release moderated results for IAs.
Can I see my marked exam papers?
No, the IB does not provide this service to students.
When do I get the hard copy of my Diploma and results?
A hard copy of the IB Diploma and the Diploma Programme results are sent to schools in late August/early September.
These will be mailed out in due course once they arrive. The school will pay mailing of Diplomas and results via Hong Kong Post within the city. If students would like Diplomas and results sent overseas, they will need to pay for the courier costs in advance (see below).
To receive your Diploma and official results, the school requires your contact information. To facilitate this, we will send out a Google Form to student CDNIS email addresses at the beginning of June and again at the beginning of September, just prior to our mailing, for you to share your mailing address with us. At this point, we will collect any fees for mailing outside of Hong Kong.
