My idea was to make a quote that sounded very nice on a background that shifted color. I got the idea from absolutely nothing and I found the quote to be what I wanted to put on this background and it evolved with the stipping away part. There was no inspiration from anything that I remember, but I could've been inspired by something subconsciously. My process was drawing the background on something different and then putting it on the background with then putting the text in a good order on it. I used illustrator for the drawing so it looked coherent on the page. It doesn't mean anything, I just like what the quote itself means. there isn't anything really interesting to look at and there isn't anything symbolic in the work. The most difficult thing was making the text fit in the shape perfectly.  I overcame it by doing an envelop distort that was like the shape of the background and making it into that instead of just moving the text around. Probably a more coherent background.  I think it would be abstract due to how it looks. I think the roughness is like my own style that I come to see.
