Jayden Anderson "Riverside rest"
Size, Canvas & acrylic, 2025
The idea behind this peice is a view from my hometown that always brought me a sense of comfort in times of a lot of stress and not knowing what to do. my idea for this was most likely driven by a recent personal change in my life not long before.
I used a tapping technique to help make the grass variation. i also traced over details want more visible with a sharpie.
this is a window into the place i see as my happy place. while heavily stylized, it still gives a solid idea of the space its mimicking.
this piece had an interesting problem of me being emotionally unstable at the time of its creation. at the time i had been dealing with a personal issue that left me rattled and struggling to manage my mental state for a good while.
I aimed for non-objective. it fits into my loose and simplistic style i've developed through the years of art classes.
