This is a grid drawing of a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS. The Picture I used is a picture I took in DeWitt because it looked really good in the natural light. I used this for my grid drawing because I though the car details and view perception would look really good drawn out and especially in black and white. I started off by sending my original picture to a computer where I then added a grid and printed it out. I then grabbed another piece of paper and began adding the same squares. I want the art to be black and white but still have reflections. One thing that's been difficult would be the rear end of the car. This pokes out to me because it got distorted once put through a filter to better bring out the car lines. I would say my artwork is realistic espeacially being that I took the picture myself. The thing that makes it unique to me would the fact that it's my car and something I did by myself.

This is a baseline drawing of a canyon and what I would imagine the perfect road to be. To start this off I didn't use any sort of picture but what I imagined in my mind. I decided to go with a landscape type of drawing because I wanted to try and explore something new. Eventually I hope to combine both landscape and automotive art together. I started by drawing a rough outline of a mountain valley landscape then I moved into color. The one part I think I really struggled with and something I wanna go back on is the way the water flowed. I first started out with a straight flowing river but I put the lines down hard enough to where it was really hard to erase and start over so I just stuck with it. I would say my art piece has a realistic style with it being how I picture the perfect drive to be. I think the one thing that makes it unique is the mistakes I made and how I got passed it.
