Artist statement- This painting shows three ducks walking together along a path during a colorful sunset. I used warm colors like yellow, orange, and pink in the sky to create a calm and peaceful mood, while the green grass adds contrast and represents nature. The gray path helps the ducks stand out and draws attention to them as the main focus of the artwork. The ducks represent companionship, showing how even ordinary scenes can feel meaningful. I used acrylic paint because it allowed me to layer colors and adjust details as I worked, and this piece helped me learn how color and contrast can affect the overall feeling of a painting.
