Artist statement: This is my wheel bowl. I think it turned out pretty well for one of my first times ever using the wheel. It's pretty small because I didn't want to get too big for my first time on the wheel. I used stoneware clay and a variety of tools to get it to this shape. After it was fired in the kiln, I put about 3 to 4 layers of red and a little bit of blue glaze. To improve, I would make the bowl more even and make the glaze blend together more to give it a more complete look.
