Prerequisites
- Business teacher recommendation
- Successful completion of two (2) Business Department courses

Virtual Enterprise is a simulated business that is set up and run by students to prepare them for working in a real business environment. Students will determine the nature of their business, its products and/or services and engage in the daily operation of the business under the guidance of a teacher and actual business partners. Students will participate in the Business Plan Competition and a Trade Show.
- This course meets two (2) periods every day.
- Students are eligible to receive .5 credit for Economics. Students should take a course from the Marketing and Finance Strands before taking Virtual Enterprise.
- Students in 12th grade can earn 9 college credits from Farmingdale State College.
