Tri-M Music Honor Society opens up a world of opportunities for students who have already shown themselves to be academically capable and musically gifted. Through performance and community service, members develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills sure to serve them well in school and beyond.

The three M’s stand for Modern Music Masters.
Tri-M Music Honor Society is a national organization set to inspire music participation, create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, and promote leadership in the music students of the school.
It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service activities, and to inspire other students to excel at music and leadership.
Currently, there are over 2,100 chapters in all 50 states, involving more than 84,000 students. Besides shining a bright light on their school’s music programs, these future leaders contribute more than 750,000 service hours in their local communities.
