BOCES Summer Camp Opportunities for Grades 7-9
What: Summer camps in a variety of fields (including agriculture, baking, carpentry, cosmetology, and more) led by industry-experienced professionals
For: Students in grades 7-9
Where: WEMOCO CTE Center in Spencerport
When: July 6-10 and/or July 13-17, camps run 9:00-12:00 a.m.
Camps are offered in a variety of fields including agriculture, baking, carpentry, cosmetology, and more. Once again, this year, the camps are more accessible than ever thanks to a generous grant from ESL Federal Credit Union. Students entering grades 7-9 in the fall can participate in half-day weeklong camps for $150, subsidized from the full cost of $300. Thank you to ESL!
Explore real tools, real skills and real careers in these exciting 2026 Summer at the Center Camps running July 6-10 and/or July 13-17:
• Camp Farm Life – Work with animals and crops at Springdale Farm
• Camp Digital Innovation – Code and build with Arduino, circuits and robotics
• Camp Flour Power – Bake cookies, cupcakes, breads and more
• Camp Grit and Grind – Train like an athlete with strength and speed drills
• Camp Hammer Head – Create wood projects with carpentry tools
• Camp InstaGlam – Try hairstyling, nail art and skincare techniques
• Camp International Flavor – Cook meals inspired by global cuisines
• Camp Pit Stop – Perform basic car maintenance and detailing
• Camp Spark – Get hands-on with welding and metalwork
• Camp Toolbox of Trades – Explore tools used by electricians, plumbers and more
• Camp Verified Babysitter – Earn CPR/First Aid and learn childcare basics
