In fourth grade, students work on becoming proficient at reading and writing a wide range of pitches and rhythms. They take a deep dive into how sound works and will then apply that knowledge to learning how to play the ukulele. Fourth graders do an in depth study of our national anthem and learn how the European and African music that came to America began to merge and create new styles of music.
This year, 4th Grade will have the opportunity to perform at our Veteran's Day Program on the morning of Tuesday, November 10.
