Third grade is when we start moving into more complex musical concepts. We take the joy of singing, moving and playing and combine it with a deeper understanding of how rhythm, pitch, dynamics, tempo and other elements work together. Third grade’s special units include learning all about the instruments of the orchestra, how European and African music influenced America and American Indian music.
This year, 3rd Grade will have the opportunity to perform at PTO on Thursday, September 24.
