Family Discipleship
We’re excited to introduce a new Family Discipleship tab in the Warrior Weekly!
Each month, we will feature an encouraging article or book recommendation designed to equip and support you as you disciple your student(s) and raise the next generation of Christ followers. Our hope is that this monthly resource will provide practical guidance, biblical wisdom, and steady encouragement for your family.
We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with you in this important calling, and we are praying for you as you lead your family in following Christ.

Free PSAT/ SAT Prep Course
Former CCA student, Brooke Henry, will be hosting another free session for students with tips to boost your SAT or PSAT test scores just in time for PSAT test for 9/10 th grade and anyone taking a spring or summer SAT/ ACT test. Who should attend? The 9/10th PSAT scores are an important qualifier for 11th grade dual credit classes, so if you are in 10th grade and interested in dual credit next year, this is highly recommended. Also if you are an 11th or 12th grader trying to get a certain SAT score to qualify for college admission or scholarship, Brooke provides some great content review and test taking tips to help boost your score. This free opportunity has limited spots so be sure to sign up at the link below. Brooke is also available for hire for private tutoring if you want more one-on-one/ ongoing help.
Spring Academic Advising
Information about registering for next years courses will be sent out later this spring. Like last year, Mr. Dowell and I will send out information about courses, degree plans, etc. and host a couple question and answer nights for families to ask about anything they want more information about in February. If students or students and parents would like to meet for advising, please contact Anna Burrow at aburrow@ccawarriors.com. I will mainly be available for advising appointments on Thursday and Friday mornings and lunch hours and happy to help plan for high school or college.
Need help figuring out life after CCA?
Be sure and check out the College and Career Assessments and Databases resource at the link below. There are databases with information about different careers, colleges and majors as well as 7 assessments you can take for free to help figure out what careers match your personality, skills and interests. Sign up for a free account that you can use even after you leave CCA. Use the code YQMHVMEW for your free access to the assessments.
Registration Deadlines for SAT and ACT
11th and 12th graders interested in taking the SAT or ACT in February or March, now is the time for you to sign up! Remember CCA proctors the PSAT here on campus, but students register for the SAT and ACT on their own.
SAT March 14th Test: Registration Deadline Feb 27th
ACT April 11th Test: Registration Deadline March 6th
With colder weather arriving, please ensure students come dressed for the temperature. While we work to keep classrooms comfortable, our historic buildings can vary in warmth. Students should dress in layers and bring CCA-approved outerwear for use indoors. Please refer to the guidelines below.
Students should also bring coats for outdoor time. We will continue to eat and play outside when weather permits. Outdoor coats do not need to be CCA-approved.
Outerwear Guidelines:
CCA Lands’ End or CCA-approved outerwear with a CCA logo may be worn in the classroom (sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, windbreakers, letter jackets). Gray, black, burgundy, and white are acceptable. All outerwear must be worn over a CCA uniform shirt.
Non-uniform coats may only be worn outdoors and when transitioning between buildings.
Solid burgundy, gray, black, or white leggings/tights may be worn with skirts/skorts/jumpers; no designs or holes.
Backless shoes, house shoes, moccasins, slippers, and blankets are not allowed on campus.
On particularly cold days, administration may announce jeans and spirit wear. Notices will be sent via Teams and other communication platforms. Unless notified, students should wear normal uniform. School closures or delays will also be communicated via Teams and Skyward.
This year, SIP's theme focuses on discovering who we are in Christ. To support this, we recommend the devotional Identity: Discovering Who You Are in Christ (31-Day Devotionals for Teenagers).
Written specifically for teens, it offers daily encouragement, scripture, and practical applications that point students to their true identity in God. It also aligns beautifully with CCA's theme, “Created on Purpose for a Purpose.” Parents will find it helpful too, as a way to foster spiritual growth for the whole family.
Order through the link below—charges will go to your FACTS account. Please order by Friday, December 5th to have it in time for next semester's Students in Prayer meeting. Thank you for helping our students grow in faith and confidence in Christ!
Please send Jonathan Dowell an email directly. jdowell@ccawarriors.com
We are excited to share that beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, CCA will transition from Skyward to FACTS as our Student Information System (SIS).
FACTS will be used for grades, attendance, parent contact information, and other important student records. We believe this change will simplify and streamline many of our processes. For families, one of the key benefits is that FACTS will integrate seamlessly with your existing FACTS tuition accounts, creating a single, convenient place to access important information.
This transition will take place next school year, and no action is needed from families at this time. As we approach August, we will share additional details, including what families can expect and any steps needed to prepare.
