FAFSA is now open!!
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is now available. Students who are planning on going to college in the fall need to complete the 26-27 FAFSA form in order to qualify for financial aid. This qualifies you for Federal grants and loans, but is often required by colleges to receive scholarships from the school as well. Deadline to fill it out is in January, but the earlier the better!
Registration Deadlines for SAT and ACT
11th and 12th graders interested in taking the SAT or ACT in February or March, now is the time for you to sign up! Remember CCA proctors the PSAT here on campus, but students register for the SAT and ACT on their own.
SAT March 14th Test: Registration Deadline Feb 27th
ACT Feb 14th Test: Registration Deadline Jan 9th
With colder weather arriving, please ensure students come dressed for the temperature. While we work to keep classrooms comfortable, our historic buildings can vary in warmth. Students should dress in layers and bring CCA-approved outerwear for use indoors. Please refer to the guidelines below.
Students should also bring coats for outdoor time. We will continue to eat and play outside when weather permits. Outdoor coats do not need to be CCA-approved.
Outerwear Guidelines:
CCA Lands’ End or CCA-approved outerwear with a CCA logo may be worn in the classroom (sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, windbreakers, letter jackets). Gray, black, burgundy, and white are acceptable. All outerwear must be worn over a CCA uniform shirt.
Non-uniform coats may only be worn outdoors and when transitioning between buildings.
Solid burgundy, gray, black, or white leggings/tights may be worn with skirts/skorts/jumpers; no designs or holes.
Backless shoes, house shoes, moccasins, slippers, and blankets are not allowed on campus.
On particularly cold days, administration may announce jeans and spirit wear. Notices will be sent via Teams and other communication platforms. Unless notified, students should wear normal uniform. School closures or delays will also be communicated via Teams and Skyward.
This year, SIP's theme focuses on discovering who we are in Christ. To support this, we recommend the devotional Identity: Discovering Who You Are in Christ (31-Day Devotionals for Teenagers).
Written specifically for teens, it offers daily encouragement, scripture, and practical applications that point students to their true identity in God. It also aligns beautifully with CCA's theme, “Created on Purpose for a Purpose.” Parents will find it helpful too, as a way to foster spiritual growth for the whole family.
Order through the link below—charges will go to your FACTS account. Please order by Friday, December 5th to have it in time for next semester's Students in Prayer meeting. Thank you for helping our students grow in faith and confidence in Christ!
