The College of Arts and Sciences is eager to offer you, students, with programs and trainings that would definitely increase your employability, one of which is the CSS NC II.
For several years, the Computer System Servicing training was offered by the college to the students of CAS, to equip them with skills necessary to-date, that the era of modern technology and computer servicing systems have been widely spread all over the globe. To that extension, computer training set the bar quite high.
Given the countless efforts of the College of Arts and Sciences in partnership with the TESDA-CASIFMAS, the get-go of the CSS training was realized in the previous years, under the guidance of Mr. Jason A. Asor, one of the faculty members of the college, and Mr. Solomon Garcia, the trainer from TESDA Casifmas. Every batch of trainers garnered 100% passing rate, something that rarely happens in the actual TESDA training centers.
The Computer System Servicing training has uplifted the students' knowledge in 4 core competencies namely; Install and configure computer systems and network, set-up networks, set-up servers, and maintain and repair computer system and network. Each student who enrolled in the said program received national certificates as they passed the assessments for each competency.
The participants of this Computer System Servicing training were the 2nd year students from the aforesaid college. Through handing out of the Memorandum of Agreement, the College of Arts and Sciences and TESDA-CASIFMAS agreed that the training will be conducted at the CBSUA Computer Laboratory or the ICT bldg.
