Mission Statement
The mission of the CTE Program in Catawba County Schools is to connect our students to the workplace. We do this by providing high quality CTE programming with the ultimate goal of helping students find what they are passionate about regarding career interests.

July 21 We are happy to be able to offer our families 2 choices for the upcoming school year: Either a 100% remote option through our very own Online Catawba K-12 Virtual Learning Academy, or the state's A/B/C Plan, which we're currently operating under plan B - a mix of in-person and virtual learning for almost all of our students. In order for us to plan for the best school year possible, we need all parents to complete a "Student Intent Form" for each student by August 1, 2020.

July 16 Governor Roy Cooper introduced the new NCcareers.org today, an integrated career information system that offers North Carolinians ways to explore careers and job opportunities. Governor Cooper praised the portal earlier today's during video remarks at the annual Career & Technical Education Conference
July 15 The CCS Board of Education held a Special Called Meeting on Thursday, July 16, at 5:00 PM, to approve a Plan B education model. Data from the parent survey, along with the survey results from both the administration and teacher surveys about the best educational option under Plan B.
Graduates are encouraged to take the 2022 CTE Senior/Graduate Concentrator Survey to tell us about CTE courses in High School.
All interns are encouraged to take our Internship Exit Survey. Both surveys help us improve our programs. Thank you!
