Stadium Overview

Important Locations

• Shooting Locations - Sideline and Endzone booths where the video coordinators shoot the game.

  • Video runs from the shooting locations into the Press Box.  Each location has a central rack with switches, AV Matrix SDI encoders, and fiber converters.

• Press Box

  • Central location where all video comes into and is encoded. 

  • The Core network switches exist here, and each team's dedicated VLAN starts in the press box.  

  • Focus Server also exists in the same 9U rack which houses the network and encoding equipment

• Home and Visitor Coaches Booth

  • Location where some of the coaches work during the game.  They use the video to gather as much detail about play calls.

• Sideline Benches

  • The field cart will be behind the benches during the game.  This is where the iPads will be distributed and used by the players and the coaches on the field.

  • The field cart is networked to a junction box on the back of the wall behind the benches

Locating Stadium Information

Stadium Information can be located within the Catapult Live App.

The Catapult Live App contains details the following information

• Game Schedules

• Stadium details, including the locations of the Press Box, Coaches Booth, and camera shooting locations.

• Images are provided of the various locations, as well as what the junction boxes look like in the coaches booth, press box, and the field level.

• Contact list of the Video Coordinators, Gameday Operators, Support Technicians, and stadium Facilities
