Your ebooks password is different to your email password
You got a Wriggle Information Sheet with your Chromebook.
Your ebook password is on that information sheet (See an example in the image to the left)
Your username is your school email address
If you forget this password ask your parents.
What to do if you forget your eBooks password at school !
Contact Mr. Shortt. He will reissue your ebook password to you.
Do not reset your ebook password !
If you have difficulty when you first try to login to some publishers websites........ Do Not Reset Your Password !
Make sure you have your email address spelled correctly on login e.g. ctcstudent@castletroycollege.ie

How to login to your eBooks on your Chromebook
How to login to your eBooks on your Chromebook
Follow these simple steps to login to your eBooks on your Chromebook :
Launch the chrome browser
Click on the castletroycollege.ie bookmarks drop down menu in the top left of the browser.
Click on the publisher that you want to use e.g. Folens Hive
In the pop up box enter your login details which you got with your Chromebook.
To redeem your eBooks simply enter the redeem codes when prompted
The eBook redeem code can be found inside the front or back cover of the book.
Do not install an ebook app. You access ebooks in the chrome browser on chromebooks.
Let google chrome or the ebook website remember your password for you !

When prompted by google chrome to remember your password for an ebook site click yes. It will be automatically entered in future logins.
You can also check a Remember me box on some of the ebook sites and your password will be remembered for login automatically.

I am the author. I will never simply copy and paste text from an AI and hand it in as my own work. That is plagiarism.
I will cite my sources. If I use AI for research or ideas, I will reference it in my bibliography just like a book or website.
I know the Exam Rules. For State Exams (Junior & Leaving Cert) coursework, I understand that using AI to generate my final project or essay is strictly banned and can result in losing marks.
I use AI as a coach, not a player. I can use AI to brainstorm ideas, explain hard topics, or check my spelling—but the final thinking and writing must be mine.

Transition Year Digital Leaders : Do you need some help with your Chromebook or apps on your chromebook ? Just talk to the transition year digital leaders. They may be able to answer your question and if not they will bring you to Mr.Shortt to find a solution.
