You might be trying to sign in to Classroom with the wrong google account. Check that you’re using the gmail account connected to Classroom. You must sign in to Classroom with your Castletroy College G Suite account ( email account):
School account—Also known as a G Suite for Education account, this account is set up by Castletroy College. It looks like username@castletroycollege.ie.
Once you are logged into your school G Suite account you can access google classroom from your apps drop down menu.
Note: You must have an active Internet connection to sign in.
Tell your friend to ask their parents/guardian to contact the school. Mr Shortt will then help them login.
Computer:
When you sign out of your account, you sign out from all G Suite products on your device.
In Classroom, at the top right, click your photo.
If you don't see a photo, you may see the Account image .
Click Sign out.

Go to classroom.google.com.
On the class card, click Join.
If you lose your class invitation before you added yourself to a class, ask your teacher by email to resend the class invitation.
Note: You only use the class invitation once to enrol. You don't need to re-use the class invitation again.
If you accidentally unenrolled from a class, ask your teacher via email to resend you a class code or invitation.
Complete and submit a Digital Learning Support Request form linked from the top of this page and this will be forwarded to your teacher. Be sure to enter your details and the teacher's name correctly in the form.
Students can’t create classes.

How do I undelete a post?
You can’t undelete a post. However, your teacher can see all your deleted posts.
I can't send or receive email
Your school’s admin Mr. Shortt might have turned off Gmail for you but he would inform you in advance. It is likely you signed out of your account on your device.
How do I change the language in Classroom?
You change the preferred language for your Google Account. For details, see Change language to change the language on computer and mobile devices.
In Google Meet you are unable to access breakout rooms i.e your teacher is unable to assign you to a breakout room or you are unable to use features in Google Meet such as polls:
Each version of the mobile Meet app is supported for 6 months after release.
Update to the latest version if an older version of the app is installed on your device.
If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.
If the problem still persists it may be a device incompatibility with the full features of the app.
If you are using the Chrome browser then you should check and if necessary update the browser
If you are not using chrome understand that other browsers may not work properly with Google Meet e.g. MS Edge
An Apple iOS device including iPad and iPhone have known incompatibility with certain features of Google Meet and Google Workspace. You should switch devices if possible. On a mac book you will be fine using the chrome browser.

Due to all the variables listed above and others not known at the time of writing please understand that in certain cases there may be no solution to technical issues you may experience with using Google Meet. Advice provided here may become redundant as apps are developed and updated and compatibility issues across platforms and devices resolved.
