BEST BANNER - Maadi Regatta 2026!
This year, the Maadi Regatta saw participation from 100+ schools entering the banner competition, making the off-water competition just as fierce as the racing itself!
After the welcome parade, it was announced that Cashmere High School was the champion for 2026!
The crew drew inspiration from the legendary Jaws movie poster, bringing a unique blend of intimidation and creativity to the parade! The banner showcased the Cashmere crew training hard, with a stunning backdrop of the snow-capped Mackenzie Basin Mountains.
To tie it all together, the bottom of the banner featured school pride and culture, incorporating the Kōwhaiwhai pattern alongside the lymphad logo.
