VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS

The Visual and Performing Arts Pathway provides students with vast opportunities to explore and develop their skills in diverse artistic mediums.  Students are able to begin their Visual and Performing Art studies with basic, introductory classes that quickly progress to more advanced methods.  Theatre students will have a diverse array of learning opportunities that encompass all aspects of theatre production and performance.  Students will have an opportunity to explore a wide range of courses that support students' artistic interests. With a general understanding of design concepts, students will be able to express their interests in the fields of art and theatre. Music students will be challenged with theoretical and performance-based courses that provide a solid foundation for collegiate music and beyond.  As a whole, that pathway provides an enriched education in the arts that facilitates students’ understanding of themselves and the world in which they live.
