The Environmental/Agricultural pathway is tailored for students who love exploring the natural world. In this hands-on, field-based program, students will have opportunities to work with a variety of different plant and animal systems and ecosystems. Students will explore the variety of unique local resources including wetlands, marine environments, cranberry bogs and forests. Throughout the pathway students will be introduced to various career fields in the environment and agriculture sector. Students will also learn skills they can apply in future academic studies or careers, such as field sampling techniques, soil and water testing, laboratory skills, data analysis, and horticultural techniques.
