MANUFACTURING, ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (MET)

The Manufacturing Engineering and Technology (MET) Pathway is a great choice for students who are interested in learning how to design and make things! Students in this pathway will use the engineering design process to solve real-world problems and develop their skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), CNC manufacturing techniques, and programming. Courses in the MET pathway are project-based so students can expect to learn through hands-on work on things like robots, drones, rockets, and so much more while making connections with professionals in the field! Students will leave the pathway with many useful skills, industry credentials, and internship experience leaving them well prepared for college and career opportunities in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology.

The Carver MET program is an approved Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Innovation Pathway.
This special designation is means that students are able to receive special recognition on their transcript/diploma indicating they completed two technical courses, two advanced courses, and an industry-related internship in the field.
