What are STAR questions?
STAR trains you to use stories to answer questions about your personal experiences and professional goals. Unsurprisingly, interviewers tend to ask a lot of questions about personal experiences and professional goals- STAR is an important technique to practice and master.
Example STAR questions
“So why do you want to be a physician?”
"Why do you think you would be happy taking care of people?"
“Why do you think you would be a good physician?”
“Tell me more about… (an item from your personal statement and application)”
“Describe a situation where you had to rely on the cooperation of your peers to get a job done”
“Tell me about a time when you persuaded team member to do things your way”
“Tell me three of your best qualities and provide examples of when you displayed those qualities”
