I don’t want to struggle in this class! What can I do?
Ask for and accept help from your teacher. (Before school, after school, during a study hall period or lunch.)
Ask your classmates for help. (I am sure they will be more than happy to help you out.)
Pay attention and ask questions during class when you feel unsure about something. (This one is extremely important!!!)
Research online tutoring resources. (YouTube has great videos on pretty much every topic we cover in this class.)
Study for all tests & quizzes. (The notes given in class can also be found in the Google Classroom.)
Retake any test or quiz that you get a low score on. (You have one week to retake tests & quizzes for a better grade.)
Adjust your mindset. Adopt a positive mental attitude. (How you view a subject area is important. Believing that a class is too challenging will affect your ability to learn the material.)
Be sure to give yourself time to complete all assignments, and please DO NOT procrastinate. (Complete any make-up work or any outstanding assignments you have not yet turned in. You can redo online Quia assignments for a better grade. Don’t wait until the last minute to try to bring up your grade.)
Complete extra credit assignments. (My Google Sites Teacher Page has all the directions regarding the extra credit option.)
Be more organized. (Take good notes, and keep track of all packets & handouts in your folder.)
