This is Mr. Stellato's 24th year as a Teacher of World Languages at Carteret High School. He lived in Carteret for many years, and is a graduate of CHS. In 2002, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University where he studied both Spanish and Italian. Mr. Stellato has also participated in academic study abroad programs in Italy, Spain and Mexico. In 2004, he completed a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and he also earned an additional teaching certification in English as a Second Language (ESL).

Mr. Stellato currently teaches Italian 1 & 2, and Spanish 1 & 2 for the 2025-2026 school year. He is one of the senior members of the World Language Department, and he has also written World Language curricula. This school year he will continue to serve as Student Council advisor working alongside Mrs. Sampedro.

Mr. Stellato enjoys traveling. His favorite place to visit is Italy, and he tries to go there as often as possible to see his family who live in the south near the beautiful city of Napoli (Naples) located in the region of Campania. In addition to Italy, Mr. Stellato has visited Spain, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Canada, México and Bermuda.
Mr. Stellato enjoys traveling. He has also traveled internationally with CHS students, their parents, teachers and other adults from the Carteret community visiting places like Italy (2015, 2018, 2023), Switzerland (2018), Spain (2017, 2019), France (2019), Greece (2024) and Portugal (2025). He hopes to visit other countries in Asia, Africa and South America in the future.

In addition to traveling, Mr. Stellato enjoys spending time with his family and friends, in addition to watching TV and movies. Some of his favorite streaming services and channels include Netflix, Apple TV+, HBO, Showtime, & Bravo.
