  1. Program Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs) 

  2. a. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice (PQF Level 6 descriptor)

  3. b. Communicate effectively, orally and in writing using both English and Filipino

  4. c. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams (PQF Level 6 descriptor)

  5. d. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibilities

  6. e. Preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage” (based on RA 7722)

  7. f. Generate and share knowledge relevant to specific fields in the discipline

  8. g. Formulate and implement development plans and programs

  9. h. Conduct comprehensive assessment and accounting of forest ecosystem services and resources and social processes using appropriate ICT and related tools and methods

  10. i. Assess climate change impacts, risks, and vulnerabilities, and to prepare climate change adaptation, mitigation, and disaster risk reduction plan

  11. j. Formulate, package, implement and evaluate forest management-related research, development and extension programs, projects, and policies

  12. k. Interpret, assess, and formulate forest related policies and laws

  13. l. Use IT and other traditional and modern tools, approaches and methods in problem solving, planning, management, and other management activities

  14. m. conduct research to support national and regional thrusts in forestry, agroforestry, and environment (College Goal)

  15. n. Must have the competencies to support “national, regional and local development plans.” RA 7722 


  16. Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

  17. a) Be able to perform essential knowledge and skills expected from a Forester 

  18. b) Execute duties based on sound values and be morally upright

  19. c) Advocate sustainable management of forest resources and ecosystem services

  20. d) Promote the conservation of soil, water, and biodiversity
