ENS 134: Environmental Impact Assessment
Understand the EIA Framework- Define the principles, objectives, and legal basis of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) system in the Philippines.
Analyze Environmental Policies- Explain the roles of Philippine environmental laws, policies, and institutional frameworks (e.g., PD 1586, DENR regulations) in EIA implementation.
Apply EIA Concepts and Tools- Demonstrate knowledge of EIA processes, including screening, scoping, baseline studies, and impact evaluation.
Integrate Climate Change and Sustainability in EIA- Analyze the integration of climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and cumulative impact assessment into the EIA process.
