Course Management and Class Policies
a. An “INC” is given only to a student whose class standing throughout the semester is passing but fails to appear for an examination or complete all requirements for the course due to a valid reason.
b. A student whose final general average falls at 60.00 to below 75.00 shall be subject to instructor’s evaluation. A removal examination may or may not be given.
c. A student who has incurred absences of 20% or more of the total contact hours will be DROPPED from the class.
d. Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated. Any student found to have participated in academic dishonesty will receive a “5.0” in the course, and maybe subject to further disciplinary action. The State Institute’s Code of Conduct prohibits students from committing the following acts of academic dishonesty: academic fraud, copying or allowing one’s work to be copied, fabrication/falsification, sabotage of other’s work, substitution (ex. Taking an exam for someone else) among others.

Academic Integrity
Sample:
1) Each student in this course is expected to abide academic integrity. Any work submitted by a student in this course for academic credit will be the student's own work.
2) Collaboration is allowed or discussing assignments with peers is specified in a particular learning activity with corresponding evaluation measure. Also, certain activity will require you to find help for editing papers, to utilize course materials that may be online/ produced by students who have taken the course in prior semesters, or to bring course material into exam rooms.
Note: If you have any doubts about what constitutes a violation of Academic Integrity, or any other issue related to academic integrity, please ask your instructor.
