Here are some pictures of the first day at the congress of radiology. It was really beautiful !
It was a magnificient opening ceremony, there were musicians, oscars for radiologists, but also a singer.
We were able to see a lot of machines, which were in a very large showroom. There were MRIs, scanners, TEP-SCANs, ultrasound scanners, mammographs… We were able to talk to a few sales people to find out more about machines.
It was very interesting for us, for our future job.
These are are slides of a conference about obesity, it was very interesting.
It was our favorite conference, because we understood it well, and it was very interesting for us, in our profession. Indeed, the speakers explained how to adapt during a radiology examination, when it is an obese patient, according to the machines…
Here is the magnificent Saint Etienne cathedral, located in the center of the city of Vienne.
One of our favourite tours.
Another one of our favourites visits, the castle of Schonbrunn.
We were able to take a tour with an audio guide inside, in each room, with the story that was told to us.
But, photos were forbidden inside the castle. It was very enriching, because the whole story of Sissi was told to us.
It is one of the most famous cafes in Vienna.
Here are several specialties that we tasted:
Here is our favourite specialty , it’s bread with sausage (filled with cheese) and a sauce of your choice
We tasted the goulash at the restaurant. It was beef in sauce with a ball of bread and potato.
And what could be better than a good hot chocolate with pancakes!
We visited the district where the Hundertwasserhaus house was built from 1983 to 1985. Then we went to the tourist galleries to buy souvenirs.
One morning during the trip we went for a walk in the market, then we ate there. It was very nice !
Holfburg Palace
On Sunday we went to the funfair, where we tasted hot chocolate and pancakes which were very delicious.
It was a very interesting and enriching trip for us, because we were able to visit this magnificent city of Vienna with its beautiful palaces… and we have learned a lot by having gone to the radiology congress, it will serve us well in our future professions.
