Covid-19 Response

Attendees should be aware that, due to the SARS Covid-19 pandemic, we will apply appropriate safety measures, proportionate to the level of community infection, in order to ensure that participants, and especially George, are protected from infection. Our Covid-19 measures will include the following:

• Participant assurance of vaccination and booster (in line with AAS policy).

• Use of rapid, 15-minute, Covid antigen tests required for entry into the lecture theatre.

• Physical distancing, use of multiple HEPA air filters and a CO2 monitor in lecture hall.

• Current Carnegie campus policy requires use of masks when indoors (unless alone in a closed office). This policy seems unlikely to change before the meeting.

• Outside, open air, lunch and snack breaks (no masks required).

• Local web casting of talks to private spaces and outside for those that wish .
