Year 7&8 Choir

Junior Choir rehearse on Thursday during school time - P1 Week A and Week B.

The Year 7 & 8 Choir have met regularly each week on Thursdays, Period 1. Mrs Verdonk leads the choir and recently, Mrs Watts has been assisting us in playing the piano. The choir rehearsed ‘The Blessing’ and ‘Price Tag’, which we sang at the Music Department Showcase 2022 in our school theatre. We have been learning a new Medley called “Girl Power” which we sang at this year’s Junior prizegiving. We enjoyed the opportunity to trial for solo and harmony parts and the fun that we had together. We hope the future Year 7 & 8’s will enjoy and experience what we did this year. The choir together is a strong force, we learn to breathe well, to stand up straight, to concentrate and to share the joy of singing! We can’t wait to see the future of the Year 7 & 8 choir.
