Team Lead approval is required to attend Leadership Summit in April. Please ensure any TMs attending have your approval prior to registration.
For Team Members to attend LS9, they must meet the following requirements:
Employed at Cardinal Group on or before March 4, 2025
In compliance with assigned trainings via Cardinal U
In good standing with HR
No active PIPs.
No HR corrective actions on file for the last 6 months.
Received at least a score of 3* on their annual performance management.
Performance Management requirements are new and will be subject to further discussion if needed.
Annual Performance Score of 3
A score of 3 is a baseline level completion of job duties and responsibilities. TMs that are not meeting performance expectations should be focused on their role and not attend additional events or conferences.
If a score below 3 is logged due to user error or incomplete review steps, TMs should review Ascend training or coordinate with their HRBP for training or questions.
This will not disqualify attendance in 2025, but could impact future attendance or recognition opportunities.
Incomplete Steps in Performance Management
Starting in Q1 2025, P&C will implement an audit process to notify TLs of missing, incomplete, or inaccurate steps in the performance management cycle.
Ie, Your TMs missing goals, incomplete Team Lead review or Team Lead Acknowledgement step(s).
If TMs do not fix their errors or have continual errors, they will be considered non-compliant in performance management.
TMs that are non-compliant in Performance Management, Training could be ineligible for conference attendance and awards/recognition.
More formal policy and specifics to come, but we wanted to make sure you were aware of this consideration.

We will cover the cost of local attendees parking for all days you attend. Please get your parking voucher when you check in. We will provide Uber Codes for Wednesday April 10th for the awards banquet. it is highly encourage people to carpool if it is an option for you.
Cardinal Group will pay for a double occupancy room. You are able to request a specific roommate or we will pick one for you. Single occupancy rooms are available at $239/per night plus tax and fees. They are SELF PAY. Your room will bill to Cardinal Group and a payment plan will be coordinated with you post-event.
Monday April 14th. Please have your flight to arrive in Denver before 1 pm MST to arrive at the hotel in time for our welcome event

Thursday April 17th. We have Uber codes available for you to schedule your return trip to the airport.
Cardinal Group will book flights to arrive on April 14th and leave April 17th. If you are planning to extend your trip, we will book you a one way ticket and you will be responsible for the remainder of your flight. Hotels will not be provided outside of the noted dates.
