Meet the Technologists

This Summer, the Digital Arts Lab joined the lineup at The Big Thing, an annual gathering of the immersive art community, taking place in Bradford and bringing together artists, producers, technologists, researchers and the wider ecosystem of venues, distributors, curators and funders.

We hosted a Meet the Technologists session over lunch at The Loading Bay on Wednesday 11th June, from 12:30 - 2pm.

Meet the Technologists was a space for artists to share with developers, creative technologists and fellow artists what they're working on and what kind of skills they need from a collaborator.

Attendees were encouraged to join our session if they…

• Had a great idea for something, but need a technologist with specialist skills to collaborate with.

• Wanted to show-and-tell a concept or prototype you're working on.

• Just wanted to meet and chat with people working and playing with creative technologies.

80 people joined us for lunch and met some of the leading digital artists and creative technologists from Bradford and beyond.
