Ahseem YOUSUF

Ahseem Yousuf is an international award winning filmmaker from Bradford who makes short drama films and documentaries focussed on marginalised communities, some of which have been broadcast on television. He has always had a love for storytelling and has recently completed a video game script. Ahseem is now expanding his horizons into the comic book industry and looking to develop his writing skills in that medium.

Ahseem is creating a 16-page digital comic book exploring how digital technologies like video games influence our connections and memories. Adapted from his short digital film PONG, it tells Dan's story of grieving his father and recalling 1980s gaming memories, featuring a retro digital pixel art style.
